How is this different from a regular travel agent?
Travel agents earn commission from the operators they book through, so the recommendation is shaped by margin — not by what's right for you. AlpineDesk earns nothing from any resort, hotel, airline or ski school. You pay us AU$100, we give you the plan, and you book wherever and however you choose.
What if our group is at very different skiing levels?
This is the most common Australian ski-trip scenario, and exactly what our planning is built for. We pick resorts where mixed-ability groups can split up easily during the day and reunite for lunch and dinner — and where the ski-school structure handles different levels well within the same week.
How long before the trip should we book the plan?
Six months out is ideal — full availability on accommodation and the best flight prices. Three months out still works for most resorts. Closer than that and you'll be limited to whatever's left.
What does the plan actually include?
Everything you need to book with confidence, in one document: a shortlist of destinations suited to your group (not just one), plus the snow data behind each — altitude, aspect and reliability for your dates. Then the detail: where to stay (specific accommodation for your budget and area), where to eat (restaurants, mountain huts and après worth your time), flight routing from your Australian city, transfer options, lift-pass and ski-hire guidance, ski-school comparisons, the best week to go, and our honest final recommendation. It's a flat AU$100 — currently 50% off at AU$50, and you book everything yourself.
What if we don't like the recommendation?
The first recommendation is free — no obligation to proceed. If you don't think it fits, tell us why and we'll send another. If you've paid for the full plan and change your mind before we deliver it, we'll refund in full.
